Avoid burnout
No matter what, you have to find time for yourself to recharge.
Don’t put your physical and mental health on the backburner. Don’t buckle down and push on. Don’t keep going to the point of exhaustion.
Walk away from the work, step away from the screen, stride away from the stress. Stretch your legs and move your body.
A 24/7 grind isn’t as noble as you think. It also isn’t sustainable in the long run. Moving your body improves your concentration. It boosts your thinking skills. It makes you more productive. It can lower your stress levels. And even bolster your creativity.
Steps away from the work to meditate, stretch, do yoga, venture outside. Put down your phone and play.
The more that you work, the less creative you become over time. Without rest you’ll run out of energy and creativity. You’ll wear yourself out.
You’ll burn out.
